We have such crazy work schedules and as the saying goes "life happens", however, it is so important to us to make time for our family. Although its cold out, we really wanted to go somewhere we could relax, keep warm, experience something new and have a great time. What an amazing experience at the Clay cafe in Hout Bay over the weekend.
I must admit, upon arrival, I felt a bit overwhelmed and out of place. However, one of the friendly hosts were so warm and welcoming and immediately assisted us (I think she could tell we were "first timers"). I could sense the excitement in the air and could hear laughter in the background, as we walked through the beautiful space all you saw was happy faces. I knew that we came to the right place! After we were seated our friendly waiter came over and gave us a run through of the process, each person could select a ceramic piece (or several), including the paint and all tools to create their masterpiece! We spent over 3 hours, painting, eating and drinking and just letting our creative juices flow...
All their food and some drinks are fresh and made from scratch everyday, and of course delicious and Simply Dannii Approved!
I am so happy with our choice - this is definitely an ideal day out for a ‘one of a kind’ experience. I am also extremely excited to collect our beautiful creations and will definitely be going back
